Janice Aitken
I am an artist and educator from Dundee, Scotland and a Reader in Art & Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee.
Like many others during lockdown, I’ve found a renewed enthusiasm for my drawing and painting practice. Creating small works inspired by my domestic surroundings and family and experimenting with abstract compositions, I’ve been able to refresh my practice while using art as a way to counter the stresses of COVID restrictions.
This site is not a comprehensive record of all my work but shows a selection of pieces from the last 30 years.
